At around 10pm Wednesday night I decided I should cut some fabric to make zipper pouches. While digging through my fabric trying to find the perfect one there was a big buzz that flew around my head and naturally (since I'm scared of bugs) I swatted my head turned around and saw a wasp flying around. I bolted out of my room. Riley was in our living room so I ran in there in a panic telling him a wasp attacked my head (I get dramatic with bugs). Riley was a sweetheart and put on his wasp getting garb.
He was dressed and ready to be my knight in shining armor.
Well, we never found the wasp in my craft room, or any room that night. We closed my room's door and later decided to go to bed and I lied there saying I couldn't sleep knowing the wasp is hanging around.
Riley's response: "Well, if he's trapped in your room all night..."
I'll give you a chance to finish his sentence. While he was saying this, in my head I thought, "Yeah, he'll probably be dead by morning". But in true Riley style he said,
"Well, if he's trapped in your room all night....he'll get a lot of work done". This totally caught me off guard and I couldn't stop laughing! I love him
On Thursday we headed to the Oklahoma State Fair with my mom
We saw cute dogs doing tricks, piggy races, a flying pig and plenty of exhibits.
And as I blog I'm eating cotton candy!
Random factoid:
Riley and I tend to love to match. If not each other, than objects we use...such as our tooth brush
I totally understand the wasp hysteria! They strike a fear chord in me, too. They just look evil. Glad it didn't get you!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! This has totally happened to me, too. I have no idear how the wasp was in my room, but he was! Luckily, right as I noticed it my cat did too and he jumped up on my desk and ATE IT! I train my cats well.. Haha.
