It's already Thursday! Crazy!
I've been super busy with Stelabird this week. People aren't lying when they say you work more than full time when running your own business. I'm definitely seeing that. But it's not a bad thing for me, I love doing this and I don't have children that need my attention. So I'm good.
Riley retook pictures of my earrings for me so they are looking a lot better.
The old pictures were pretty terrible.
Last night we watched The Happening and after that we watched the first disc of season one of Dexter. So, yea, saw lots of killings last night. I was blindsided really. I knew the plot of both the movie & show but I didn't anticipate all the deadness. Yikes.
So I had problems sleeping last night, that's what I get.
I have a question for you:
Have you ever had a lost package? What do/did you do?
Not a really fun question, but I'm curious.
Stay warm!!
I love my Stelabird earrings! I have the cream ones but I didn't know you have red and pink!
ReplyDeleteYour earrings look great!
ReplyDeleteI have never had a package get completely lost, but I have received a completely empty package before (it was not empty when the person took it to the post office!). We couldn't do anything about because there was no insurance on it.
Those earrings are divine!!! Fortunately, I've never gone through the whole tragedy of losing a package.. so, I really don't know what you do in the case!

No lost package, but I wanted to let you know the earrings are so pretty. And, the photos look great!
ReplyDeleteLove the earrings! Very vintage:) I have never seen Dexter but my brother just loves it...maybe I will have to catch it sometime!
ReplyDeleteWe have lost several packages over our history. When we shipped with fed ex, we filed a claim and they sent us back the money. I had to recarve and resend another seat though. The customer was very understanding. Fed Ex rocks ! With UPS though we still filed a claim but ti took longer. they did refund the money though. ( same goes with breakage) The USPS is just bad news all the way around. With no insurance, you are screwed....period. With insurance, you are still screwed because they make the customer that failed to recieve the item file the claim. Customeres are similar to childen here, they don't want to do anything they don't have to. And sometimes they will blame YOU for the package being lost and the post office will not pay the claim. We have never had any luck filing a claim ( missing or damage) with the postoffice. Even with insurance. Hint.. Tracking number helps but costs extra. Ah well, my 2 cents worth.
ReplyDeleteI fancy those little cream diddys quite a bit!
ReplyDeletesupercute earrings!

Your new earring pics look divine! The pink ones are adorable.
ReplyDeleteNever completely lost a package through USPS (yet) luckily. Once UPS delivered something to the wrong person, but I yelled at some people and got things worked out. Once UPS delivered something to me that promptly disappeared for 3 days and then mysteriously reappeared. Weird. Again, some calling and talking handled that fairly easily.
Thanks for the bday wishes. The new photo's look good. Do you guys have a light box? I*ve had 2 packages lost & fortunately for me the lovely people who bought them understand, i remade them all & that was that.
ReplyDeleteI hope they find it, if something was lost. I*ve also had a package show up empty.
I have to tell you, I've been to your blog a gazillion times but never visited your Etsy shop. I know bad blog friend. I realized it's because your etsy mini is at the bottom of your blog page which I never look at because I always visit your latest post. You have neato things in your shop and I think if your bloggy friends saw your mini they would be more inclined to purchase an item from your shop and support your endeavors.
ReplyDeleteI sent 2 VERY custom scarves to a customer in Drexel Hill, PA last year, and the package became dreadfully lost. I recreated both scarves, and sent the second package to her free of any extra charges. I thought it was the only way to handle it at the time. I'm still wondering if there is a homeless guy sitting around wearing a Villanova sock scarf somewhere... but at least I know he will be warm <3
