Riley and I were having lunch when we got the call.
I stopped eating and stared at Riley while he talked on the phone. It was the lady he emailed last night about the puppy.

Since we doggie-sitted our friends' chinese crested we've been wanting a little roomie of our own. We are allergic so we need a dog that doesn't shed. We decided on a schnauzer/poodle mix and found that there is a lady in Oklahoma with these type of dogs.

We are planning on visiting them tomorrow and if we decide on one, he will come back home with us on Monday! I'm looking forward to meeting them!! AH!

  1. Ooo, good luck! Schnoodles are such cuties. Make sure to observe temperament as well as adorableness when you meet the puppies.

  4. How fun! I've never met anyone who went to look at puppies and didn't end up with one, they're irresistible that way :)

I so wanted to shout out Stelabird! at Deluxe on Saturday but I figured you'd take me for a total loon so I opted for not saying anything at all. Maybe next time ;)

  5. I'M SO EXCITED TO MEET YOUR PUPPY! I mean, you'll get one. Puppies are impossible to turn down. You're going to get it Monday while our men are on the road?

  6. Aw... I remember when we went to pick out our Lucy. We went for a black boy and came home with a yellow girl! She just had the sweetest face and for me it was love at first sight! I just WOULD not compromise. I had to have her. Now she is turning all grey around the mouth and I still love her as much as the day we brought her home. She has brought SO much joy to my life. Just go with your heart when you get there. Can't wait to see your new baby.

  8. You could avoid breeders and check for Schnoodle rescues. Or look at your local shelter for one.

    Petfinder.com is a great tool.
