Donzo!

Last post I mentioned we were in the process of making our A-Frame sign; well friends, it's complete! Husband used wood that we already had, primed it, and painted it with 2 coats of chalkboard paint.
We used chalk marker to write on our sidewalk sign. It's so much easier & precise. PLUS I hate chalk. It makes me cringe!! Just thinking about it is making me make a weird face and squirm!
So, yes, I love chalk marker.

  1. What!? There is such a thing as chalk markers? Nothing else left to be desired! :)

Love what can be done with chalk, but so hate the dust it leaves behind... I can only imagine the fun you'll have changing up the sign (everyday?)

In another life I'd like to excel in calligraphy & be a traveling A-Frame sign artist.

    1. I imagine we'll change it daily! I wish you could do that in this life and fly here and do our sign. My handwriting is not cool.

  2. I hate chalk too! At school I used to buy tile board from Home Depot to cover my chalkboards. That way I could use dry erase markers. But my room this year already had white boards instead of chalkboards... thank goodness! Love how the sign turned out!

  7. Love Chalk Markers, I use them on my board at our shop! They are a bit more pricey compared to chalk...but of course I had to have every color. Smooth writing/ minus the dust!

  8. My mom was a teacher, and when asked why, she would say that she loved the smell of chalk. WHAT?! Ridiculous. I agree with you completely.

I couldn't resist a cute and clever sign like that!
