Make It // fabric flower

A couple weeks ago I was making little fabric flowers to hang in my shop window
and I got a few request on how to make them; so for today's Make It I'm going to share how to make fabric flowers!
This DIY is nice and simple, so let's get started!
You will need:
fabric (any will do! I'm using a broadcloth)
needle & thread
scissors
pen (pencil or fabric marker)
1. Place 2 layers of your fabric on top of each other. Using your spool of thread, trace 4 circles. **If you would like a bigger flower make bigger circles (using a water glass). Bigger circles also means making more circles.**
After you've traced your circles, cut them out. This will create 8 circles.
2. 1) Get one of your circles and fold it in half like a taco. 2) Fold that circle in half again. 3) Get your needle and thread and sew through the corner of your folded circle.
3.  1) Get your second circle and repeat Step 2's #1-2.
 2) Repeat Step 2's #3 and make sure the folded circles are side by side.
3) Repeat Step 2's #1-3 with all 8 circles.
4.  1) This is what it should look like once all 8 circles are on the thread.
2) Bring the 2 ends together
3) Sew into the first circles corner connecting them. Do this twice and tie off.
And here's your fabric flower! Wasn't that easy?
There is so much you can do with these little guys!
This is what we did with the fabric flowers for our shop window. To make this garland, just sew your thread through all the flowers.
And here's another thing you can do with fabric flowers...
Well, looky here, it's a quick & mini Make It on how to make a fabric flower hairpin!
You will need:
fabric flower
felt
hair pin
1. Glue felt circle on bottom of fabric flower. Also, snip a little slit on the other felt circle for your hair pin to fit through.
2. Glue your hairpin and felt to the felt bottom of the flower. And guess what...you've made a fabric flower hairpin!
I hope you guys enjoyed this little tutorial!
I don't know if you noticed, but I said circles a lot. Can you guess how many?
  Yikes!
Happy Making!

  3. These are much easier than I thought! I have some weirdly sized scraps that I wasn't sure what to do with, and I think this will be perfect!
