dia de los muertos

Riley and I went to Tulsa today to go to the dia de los muertos arts festival.
We had a blast! I wish I would have taken more pictures but I tend to get caught up in things and forget! But here are a few.

The awesome Mary Beth from Dwelling Spaces and her rockin' face paint!

...and this is what I bought!

Let's celebrate the lives of those that have departed. Have a great night.

  8. Grey and I were there, too. It was a lot of fun. I didn't buy anything, but I did make a marigold (a horrible one!) and write a letter to my stepmother who died four years ago. It was a neat festival. I want to make an altar next year.

  11. I love day of the dead decor!
that queen elizabeth looking skelly picture is really cool.

I also love Mary Beths face painting. I want to do that for halloween next year. Neato.

I also get caught up in the moment and forget to take pictures.
That happened at my own halloween party. I only took pictures at the end of the evening. Despite how fun the pictures were, there were so many other cool costumes. Sad.
anyway, I am super jealous that you got to go to such a cool event.
