a spring playlist & flashback

Spring doesn't technically begin until March 20th but here in Stillwater, today feels like a typical spring day. So I made a playlist on my itunes that reminds me of the awesome season.

*Anonanimal--Andrew Bird
*Hurricanes-Au Revoir Simone
*Churches Under The Stairs--Brendan Canning
*I Woke Up Today--Port O'Brien
*23--Blonde Redhead
*My Night with the Prostitute From Marseille--Beirut
*Through the Backyards of our Neighbors--Au Revoir Simone
*Agoraphobia--Deerhunter
*Stay Golden--Au Revoir Simone
*Sky Blue Sky--Wilco
*Impossible Germany--Wilco
*Not a Robot, But a Ghost--Andrew Bird
*My Love--The Bird and the Bee

I'd also like to mention that I've been making my zipper pouches for a year now! Here is my very first one that I made for Valentine's Day 2008.

And look at this snuggly from a year ago!! Awww, and our old loveseat. I miss that uncomfortable beauty.

Oh and also I had the flu a year ago!!

I have no idea why I'm reminiscing. Maybe because it's fun to see old pictures stored on my computer and see what I was up to a year ago.

What are you currently listening to? Or reading?

Enjoy your Sunday!

  2. heehee, that last photo, makes being sick look adorable! :D

Listening to: 80's pop songs like Irene Cara's "What a Feeling" and Johnny Logan's "Hold Me Now". Hm. Makes me remember being very little.

Reading: "The House of Mirth" by Edith Wharton but I threw it on the floor after reading derogatory comments about jews! I don't know what to do now. Can I ignore it since it's a classic? Apparently not.

Last good read: "A Chinese-English Dictionary for Lovers". Excellent, funny, interesting novel.

And do read: "The Price of Water in Finistère" by Bodil Malmsten.
