Today I:
set the alarm for 8am.
Woke up at 11am. (oops)
Got delicious hazelnut coffee & returned Marley and Me (OMG I cried my eyes out! No one warned me!!)
Kissed the boyfriend.
Started laundry (all day event!)
Cleaned the whole house.
Ran errands. Bought my parents' dog (beagle named Rocko) a toy.
Went to my mom's house and tried to get Rocko to play with the toy, but he was scared.
Went to dinner with Mom.
Bought Rocko a new harness.
We took Rocko for a walk in his new harness and daydreamed of getting our own doggie-doodle.
Came home and emailed someone about a doggie-doodle. Now waiting for a reply.
Blogging.

No sewing today :(
But definitely tomorrow.

I had plans to take pictures of stelabird goodies but that didn't happen. Tomorrow is suppose to rain so taking pictures will probably be out of the question again.
But sooner or later there will be new items in my shop!

riley is such a man drinking water straight from the jug.

What is the movie you resort to when you want a feel good movie?
Mine is Amelie, and I'm in the mood to watch it right now! Have a wonderful Monday

  1. Funny how the day disappears in a blink.

I cried my eyes completely out, too, with Marley and Me. Sounds like you might be getting your own little cutie to snuggle with, can't wait to see what you get.

  2. Hahaha Riley!!! I love that - and the look on your face. Is he even aware that you're laughing/taking a photo/publishing him to the web? Hehehe.

My fave feel good movie? Romy & Michele's High School Reunion. It's one of my favorite movies of all time!! I have seen it soooooooooo many times and always feel happy after watching :).

  3. I knew you guys were about to give in by the way you were talking at Deluxe! Good luck with the quest to find the perfect new member of your family, I think that will be so fun.

I LOVE Amelie. It's one of my favorites for sure. I might just have to skip Marley and Me though, I'm not sure if I can handle it if it's that sad!

  4. Oh...the movie isn't even an ounce as bad as the book. I cried so hard while reading the book that I couldn't even see the pages. Plus the book is SO funny. You should read it.

Amelie is my feel good movie too! Have you seen "Penelope" and "Benjamin Button"? both great movies.

Why do men like to drink straight from the jugs/cartons?

  6. Now this is proof you can get a LOT done even when you don't wake up until 11 :-D Even if it wasn't work, I especially admire the part about cleaning the whole house.

Films: Amélie, yes, and Enchanted and Tomb Raider 1 & 2 and Armageddon - yes, seriously. I love a good explosion. On film.

  7. Marly and Me also made me cry! And its a tie between Almost Famous, Benny and Joon, or Singles. Those movies always make me happy! Oh and I hope you get a pup soon!

  9. Ah, Riley is so manly. Ben's feel good movie is the South Park movie. It helps him go to sleep, haha! Let me know what comes from the puppy email! I'm excited for you, but hope I'll still see you when you get your lil pup!

  10. Mine is Little Women, the one from the '90s. I laugh, I cry, I smile.

I used to date a guy who carried jugs of water around instead of a water bottle, lol.

  11. Oooo, Amelie, I loooove that movie!
My go-to movies have to be 'Under the Tuscan Sun', 'Return to Me', 'Notting Hill', 'French Kiss', and the Kiera Knightley version of 'Pride & Prejudice'. *sigh!* They always make me so warm and happy inside. :)

My feel good movies are You've Got Mail (I just love Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks!) 50 First Dates and Getting Over Sarah Marshall (even if there is random nudity!) I love movie days when it is rainy out!
