at the shop...

I'd like to introduce you to my new favorite piece in our shop
We saw this at our favorite thrift shop on Monday and ran at it in excitement;
holding our breath as we inspected it. It was in excellent condition!
We're going to be rearranging our shop next weekend and we'll be using this with our counter. I'm so excited!

What is your favorite thrift shop find?

  2. That's great! I don't generally find much I love at thrift stores, but I have this phenomenal couch that's very mid-century modern...except in vinyl. I love it.

  3. That's awesome!! It's been a long time since I scored anything I really loved at a thrift store. All the good ones are kinda far out of the city and we don't have a car. But one of these days I'll have to make a trek/treasure hunt around the area. :) xo, Mary

  4. Ahh, this is so gorgeous! I can't wait to get out of a dorm and into a real place so I can interior design the heck out of it!

  6. A great great find! And perfect for a counter....my favirote find wasn't at a Thrift shop, but from the garbage pile outside an apartment building....someone was tossing an old cane-backed, armless, 5-wheeled (on a 'spoke type' base) desk chair. I scooped it up and have been using it as my sewing chair for 8 years now. :-)

  7. It is awesome! I would be excited about that find too!!

    I found an awesome leather bag for $5 once and just couldn't believe it! I posted about it here: http://ontherefrigeratordoor.blogspot.com/2011/04/weekend-finds.html

  8. I really like the style of this! Congrats on the find and I can't wait to see how you guys incorporate it in the store! Since Josh manages a thrift store, you'd think I would have a nice list of things I've found, but alas I spend most of my free time in my craft cave! Ha! When I'm self-employed I plan to use my new-found free time to do some thrifting :)

    I mostly just wanted to say that I see you in the mirror! Hellooooooo! Teehee!
