The 4th on the farm

For the past few years it has been a tradition of ours to go to my father-in-law's farm to celebrate the 4th of July. And as always, it was a blast and also relaxing. The beautiful horse starring in a lot of my photos is Susie. She's fairly new to the farm and oh so sweet. She fell in love with Riley and followed him around everywhere. When night fell we were able to see 3 different towns' fireworks in the distance from my FIL's backyard.
I hope my fellow Americans had a happy and safe 4th.

  5. What a fun place to spend the 4th! Susie is too cute. We just chilled at home, made hot dogs, and caught up on Breaking Bad. Our building is up on a little hill, so we were able to catch a few fireworks displays from our windows. Hooray for being above the tree line, haha!

  11. Your 4th sounds and looks really relaxing! I'm originally from Indiana and sometimes miss wide open space like that. And we definitely could use the space for the 4th so Andrew doesn't have to resort to ridiculous fireworks antics! :)
