goodbye lawrence

My blog is driving me crazy! It was brought to my attention that you can't see my etsy shop or profile info, I was confused because it's to the left side but when I looked on my blog... it sure was at the very bottom of the page where no one could see it! GRRR!!! So I currently can't fix it, so I will have to put Riley to work.

Yesterday Riley and I went to Lawrence, KS since he had a show there last night at the Replay Lounge. It was a 4 hour drive and this was my second time to go there so we went early to do some shopping on Massachusetts street. My favorite store: SARAH'S FABRICS!
I was so overwhelmed when I was in there! So many amazing fabrics!! I haven't been in a good fabric store. EVER. Stillwater only has Hobby Lobby and some local quilting stores but they never have fabrics I want, so I have to shop online. Sarah's had Alexander Henry and Amy Butler fabrics! So I was in heaven.

I ended up buying 16 different fabrics, so you'll be seeing new prints on snugglies & pouches this week!!

And here are some pictures of last night, I was a little lazy with the camera, sorry!
Here's Riley's band Mayola

And Colourmusic (our friends from Stillwater).

We just got home today at 5p, so now it's time to relax and watch the next disc of Dexter.
Have you seen any good new movies or shows?

  1. Very cool fabrics! I love the bicycle one:) Can't wait to see what you make with them! I have not seen anything cool lately...I just have my staples: The Office and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. I have heard great things about Dexter but didn't know if it was too bloody?! I hate anything gory!

  5. Maybe I should have mentioned it earlier but... I made it over to your shop because you had a link to it in one of your last few posts. Your lovely pouches arrived earlier this week. Thank you.

We loved Dexter. Did you see Wall-E? the little robot guy?? Adorable, especially if you aren't a fan of the death in Dexter.

    Merry Christmas! - Alissa

  9. I am very excited about your bicycle fabric! You're right, most other crafty fabric stores don't have cool fabric. It's slim pickins.

So cool. Riley is a singing maniac. Is that sideways w logo thing their band logo? Either way, it looks cool. Fun band pics.

I am looking forward to a new episode of Scrubs, Tuesday January 6th on ABC 9/8c. Love that show!
No cable for me but I'm ok with that.

  15. Those fabrics are AMAZING. I'm dyyyying to go to a REAL fabric store (that is NOT JoAnns)!! There aren't too many things that are more exciting than piles of new fabric just waiting to be cut into.
Haven't seen any "new" shows recently... but lately I have not been able to get enough of watching Extreme Makeover Home Edition. I CRY every time!!!
