I cannot wait till October 16th

Where the Wild Things Are

I'm in love with this trailer! I got a little teary eyed! But I think that may have to do with me being a wee bit emotional.

I've been feeling a bit frumpy lately and talking down on myself, so today I dressed up. For what? Myself. The things I do for my self-esteem.

And to be honest, I feel pretty good today, despite the cold, gloomy weather.

And Mr. Jantzen playing the melodica today has inspired me to listen to the Amelie Soundtrack, which I believe is my favorite soundtrack! I love me some Yann.

Today around 3p I will be adding the owl pillow with the faux bois tummy to my shop!

Alright kitties, I better get back to work, I've procrastinated long enough.
(ok, I'd like to mention that I've been working on this for 30+ minutes, so it seems, yet it only took a minute to read. Geez!)

  4. I love the trailer! I didn't even know there was going to be a movie on one of my all time favorite books! It kind of reminded me a little of Labyrinth....one of my favorite movies with David Bowie!

  8. okay, i had NO idea they turned where the wild things are into a movie! thank you for letting me know. i guess i've been so distracted by my anticipation for the next harry potter movie that i've completely lost touch with everything else in the cinema world! it looks SO good. i am very excited for it. my eyes may have gotten a little wet watching that trailer...

and i totally dress up or put makeup on when i'm going to be inside or alone all day just to boost my self-esteem too. it works wonders.

  16. Wow that movie is going to be awesome!! That is so exciting because it looks like they did a good job with the way they interpreted it into movie form.

I was at the grocery store tonight getting some muffins and strawberries (mmm!) and stumbled upon The Never Ending Story (and the never ending story 2, a 2 pack, for 10 bucks!!). I bought it right away because I haven't seen that since I was about 7!! Ohmygosh it was just as good as I remembered :) do you remember that one?? That is one they really need to re-make!
