Hello friends!!
I kinda disappeared there for a week didn't I?
I finally gave in and read the twilight saga + midnight sun. And can I just say, wow, I wasn't expecting it to consume my life the way it did. No wonder why people are crazy about it. After reading the final book I didn't know what to do with myself. I was that bad. I couldn't remember what I did on a normal day!
But I'd like to think I'm back. I'm blogging again!! I haven't read any blogs either so I have a lot of catching up to do! Phew

Dexter is now 3 months! Loving life & being a puppy. I'll have to do a Dexter day on my blog sometime to give you the full scoop on our little guy!

Today I got a convo about a lost package, and I'm pretty bummed. I almost went 2 years without a lost package :( Damn postal service

Speaking of 2 years....I will be having an owl snuggly giveaway JULY 1st!
I'm celebrating my Stelabird birthday with you!
So please be sure to come back and check that out next week!

I've missed you guys!!!

  2. You MUST read the Sookie Stackhouse series by Charlaine Harris. Excellent books.

I didn't care for the Twilight series. I think Meyer is a terrible writer and the only reason her books have been so successful is because she had a good idea. I found her characters to be too predictable and her dialogue was awful. Just my opinion, of course. :)

But really, read the Charlaine Harris books, you'll love them! They are quite different from the True Blood series. And, as an added bonus, they're age appropriate!

**I'm going to!! I love True Blood and that's why I was unsure about it at first. I know the series doesn't follow the books so I was nervous that I would prefer the books over the show. But maybe I'll just stop crying and read them! :)

  4. Wow, it is pretty wonderful when books take over like that, I always feel a bit sad finishing up a series, you actually miss the characters and want to keep reading more.
Congratulations on 2 years, looking forward to the giveaway!!

  9. I was wondering where you and Dexter have been! I am totally the same way with books, when I get into one it totally takes over.

How is puppy training? If I remember correctly 3-6 months is a pretty crucial training period! :-)
