We moved into our current place three months ago and we're still trying to decorate. We move so much that I feel like we lose belongings along the way! Does that happen to anyone else? So I feel like we've been starting over in the decorating department. I really love this house we are in and it's in a historic district (built in 1906).
This weekend I made a simple banner to hang above our bed because it's been bothering me being empty! We were originally wanting to get Berkley Illustration prints to put above our bed. Maybe soonish. But for now I'm happy with my little fabric banner.

and as you can see I used photo booth to take the pictures, sorry for the slackin'.

I better get back to that! And here's a picture of my tattoo I got in Dallas when I went 2 weeks ago.

I said I would never get a tattoo because I couldn't think of one I would ever get. But once this one came to mind, I couldn't be without it anymore. Never say never, right? I have so many reasons for the swallow, I won't give them all but one including stelabird and also my sister has one.

enjoy your day! meow!

incognito yeti ghost!

You know Snood? That computer game from back in the day? Well, I've been playing it a lot lately and I'm obsessed! It's too much fun for me. Anyways, one of the characters reminds me of a yeti so I've had yetis on my mind. So I had to make one!

Grr, he's angry! Don't let his rosy cheeks fool you!

I also made incognito sunglasses holder

AND I'm starting to prepare for what I'm going to sell for the halloween season.
Baby boo will be available!!

I'm in dire need of new business cards! I've made my own in the past but I would love more professional ones! I just don't know where to get them. Where do you get your business cards?!

cure my headache

I got my flats from urban this week and...they are too big! I wear a size 7 (usually) and that was the smallest they had available so I thought I was sooo lucky! Jokes on me. I bought some insoles today thinking that they would give me a little boost to fill my shoes. No go. Any tips on making peeptoe flats that are too big fit?? Please?!
Right now I'm lounging in my (summer)room with a major headache snacking on Ghirardelli squares (milk chocolate with caramel, yum!) as I enjoy The N. That's right. I love the N.
Tomorrow is the cd release of Mayola (riley's band). I'm so happy that it's here in Tulsa! After the craft mafia meeting on sunday I drove back home to visit him. It was the worst drive of my life! It started with terrible winds, I couldn't stay in my lane. Then the rain was so hard I was driving 30mph and still couldn't see that well! It was the scariest thing I've been through so far. I was comforted with riley's sloppy joes! As in the food, of course.
Anyways, if you are around the Tulsa area come hang out tomorrow night

I plan to start making slouch/hobo bags. That's on my agenda this weekend. Next week is busy with lots of fun craft stuff!! I'm now apart of the Tulsa Craft Mafia and we are having different craft nights every night! Starting Monday with Knitting Night. I haven't knit in so many months! I forgot how to bind off! I've only made scarves and I've only finished 3. I don't have the patience for knitting I suppose. I do enjoy it however.

How long does it take you to finish a knitting project?

rabbit face

I made this little guy one stormy night. It felt like frankenstein. It was lightning like crazy with loud creepy thunder and heavy rain. I was sitting in my kitchen/craft area creating this new little guy. I put a little bead for one eye and I wondered what it would look like with a button instead. I placed the button on with the bead attached on the other side. It looked hilarious. He looked insane. Like he was angry and yelling and it caused his eye to stay huge. I liked it. When I was filling him with poly-fil I had an eerie feeling. I was waiting for him to jump out of my hands once I finish sewing him up. I love him.
