We are making donuts today! The only donuts I know how to create,
felt ones. This DIY is easy and fun.
Let's get started!
You will need:
scissors
needle and thread
felt
beads or embroidery floss
stuffing
5" circular pattern with 1" center
1. Cut out 2 pieces of donut (tan) felt and one piece of frosting
(brown) felt.
2. fold the brown felt in half and cut to create the frosting.
3. Now it's time to hand sew the frosting felt onto one of the donut
felt. First sew in the center circle, then sew the edge of frosting.
4. Now it's time to add sprinkles! If you are giving this to your pet
or small child I suggest using embroidery floss instead of beads.
5. Get your other piece of tan felt and sew together in the center circle.
After that sew the outside together. Leave about 4 inches open for
stuffing.
6. Add stuffing to donut
7. Once donut is nice and full, sew it up!
And we're done!
You can use your felt donut as a pincushion, decor in your kitchen,
pet toy, kid's play food, etc.
Happy Making!
