knitting night

After Riley finished playing Fable II we had some quality time!

Yes, we're knitting! Riley took up knitting tonight and I'm impressed with his progress! I don't know why I'm surprised, he's amazing at everything he does!

He's inspired me to knit more. I just become so impatient that I put it aside and forget about it. I can only knit scarves beginner style. It'll be fun to learn new stitches together. I may be asking for a lot here.

I hope soon you can find Riley on etsy!

Have a great weekend!
Happy crafting!

cure my headache

I got my flats from urban this week and...they are too big! I wear a size 7 (usually) and that was the smallest they had available so I thought I was sooo lucky! Jokes on me. I bought some insoles today thinking that they would give me a little boost to fill my shoes. No go. Any tips on making peeptoe flats that are too big fit?? Please?!
Right now I'm lounging in my (summer)room with a major headache snacking on Ghirardelli squares (milk chocolate with caramel, yum!) as I enjoy The N. That's right. I love the N.
Tomorrow is the cd release of Mayola (riley's band). I'm so happy that it's here in Tulsa! After the craft mafia meeting on sunday I drove back home to visit him. It was the worst drive of my life! It started with terrible winds, I couldn't stay in my lane. Then the rain was so hard I was driving 30mph and still couldn't see that well! It was the scariest thing I've been through so far. I was comforted with riley's sloppy joes! As in the food, of course.
Anyways, if you are around the Tulsa area come hang out tomorrow night

I plan to start making slouch/hobo bags. That's on my agenda this weekend. Next week is busy with lots of fun craft stuff!! I'm now apart of the Tulsa Craft Mafia and we are having different craft nights every night! Starting Monday with Knitting Night. I haven't knit in so many months! I forgot how to bind off! I've only made scarves and I've only finished 3. I don't have the patience for knitting I suppose. I do enjoy it however.

How long does it take you to finish a knitting project?
