In the Kitchen // Prosciutto Linguine

One of our favorite meals to eat is this pasta we call Prosciutto Linguine.
It's delicious, light, easy and pretty quick to make.
Today I'm sharing the recipe!
This recipe is adapted from America's Quick Cuisine
Prosciutto Linguine
preparation time: about 20 minutes
makes 3 servings

You will need:
8 ounces dry linguine
2 ounces thinly sliced prosciutto, cut into 1/4 inch wide strips
1/4 cup olive oil
1/2 cup thinly sliced green onions
1 jar (3 oz) pitted green olives, drained
1 cup cherry tomatoes, cut in half

1. In a 5 to 6 quart pan, cook pasta in boiling water for about 10 minutes, then drain.

2. While pasta is cooking, combine prosciutto and oil in a wide frying pan. Cook over medium-high setting, stirring, until prosciutto is lightly browned (about 3 minutes). Add onions and cook, stirring, until soft (about 2 minutes). Add olives and tomatoes and continue to cook, until olive are hot (about 2 minutes).

3. Pour prosciutto mixture over pasta, toss well and eat!

If you try this out let me know what you think!
Hope you enjoyed this recipe.
Also, little side note; I almost titled this prostitute linguine on accident.
I'm going to leave you with that.

  3. That looks very good! What you call "green onions" are called "spring onions" in some of the places I've lived. I'll put this on my list to try. TFS!
