♥ Love him to pieces! It's about time for his summer haircut.

I've been making zipper pouches for our local shop and thinking about
updating my etsy shop. But I can't decide if I want to do that or open 
a storenvy shop. What do you guys think? 

I wear a lot of boys clothes from American Apparel. I really need to get
some ladies clothes. Oh, and this picture is showing that I don't care 
about matching my shoes to my shirt. I'm wild. 

Getting my hair trimmed. Finally! Also, I shared this photo on instagram and 
facebook and people said it looked like I had a cigarette in my mouth. 
First off, I don't smoke, and second, I don't think they would allow that in the salon. However, it was a lollipop and it was tasty.

This was our set up for the vlog! Do you like our fancy tripod? And also, 
as you can see, I had a glass or two of wine. I was nervous! I sat in front
of the camera and froze. That's also why I had husband join me. 

I made these earrings for myself and decided I had to share how to make
them with you guys! You can see how to make them HERE.

I just want to give this little guy a noogie! (Oh, just did!) Isn't his
little curly fro adorable? Seriously though, I need to schedule an appointment 
with the groomer! He will be melting in no time with the summer heat.

1. We've been getting plenty of April showers this past week in Oklahoma. I love our rain chain we have hanging from our gutter.

2. Husband just singing a song to our dog Dexter. 

3. I completed the flower garland for our shop window!  

4. Do you ever notice how much your dog acts like you? Or is that just us? Or are we crazy? I loved this photo of husband and Dexter lying around. 

5. Sometimes you just need a cheese and wine night. 

6. The weather is warming up, which means we start having events at our shop again!

8. Husband and Dexter are all over my photos this time! I suppose that's only right since I'm with them 24/7. Anyways, the weather was lovely this Easter Sunday so we sat outside on our porch.

1. Dexter's birthday was last Friday and he got to eat a doggie cupcake biscuit. 

2. Some awesome people in Enid have started up a cash mob and our shop was the first to be mobbed last Saturday! It was so exciting and we were so happy and appreciative that they chose us. 

3. Wine with friends. 

4. Dexter met a new friend at the dog park. They were so adorable playing with each other.

5. On Monday we were in Oklahoma City and dropped off my owl snugglies at Collected Thread and this amazing yarn bombed snake was on the bike rack in front of her shop!

6. While in the metro area, we headed to my favorite theatre, to see The Hunger Games. This awesome theatre has balcony seating that is 21+ so you can have yummy adult beverages and food while you watch your movie. Also, they have super comfy seats with a seat warmer! And, I loved the movie! 

7. I've been sewing up a storm this week trying to get shops restocked with my owl snugglies. You can find them at Collected Thread in OKC and next week at Dwelling Spaces in Tulsa.   

8. Colorful sunnies sittin' pretty in our local boutique.  

9. Husband built new shelves for us at the shop! Love new displays.

The weather has been gorgeous this week in Oklahoma so we've been spending lots of time outside. 

New season means new displays at the shop! 

Dexter got his Spring hair do! He's like a little ninja now. 

We added some new items to the Felt Bird online shop this week! 

Next week husband and I are heading to Austin for SXSW for a few days and I cannot wait! It's nice to get away for a little while every now and then and I definitely need it right now.

Making button earrings for the boutique

Since brussels sprouts are in season and delicious we've been making them a lot lately. We sauté them with garlic in olive oil and season them with salt and pepper. 

The weather has been awesome and in the 60s so I've been drinking berry smoothies like crazy. 

Anytime I'm drawing up ideas, I tend to also draw doodles of Dexter.

From the photos above we can pretty much sum up my week by saying I've been at work, working on the online shop, and eating. Whoooo!

How was everyone's weekend? 

We kinda celebrated Valentine's early by exchanging gifts and had a little snow this weekend! 

Husband's gift to me! I'm also so in love with this bottle, so pretty. 

We had a lot of heart shaped food yesterday. A chocolate heart donut for breakfast...

and we made a heart shaped pizza for dinner with friends.

It hasn't been too cold here in Oklahoma this year, but this weekend it was bitterly cold and finally snowed. This is a view from our friends' loft in downtown Enid. 

Today I'm cuddling under blankets and enjoying the great indoors.
