It's cold and dreary out, and even the coffee can't perk me up.
I woke up and did the computer thing: email, convos, twitter, myspace, blog.
Then I put tags on all the merchandise I'm giving to Dwelling Spaces. I really need to look into getting better tags. That's going on my "look into" list.
Here are the things I've been working on all weekend that will be at Dwelling Spaces this week, maybe. Oklahoma is expected to get our annual winter storm this week. Ice, ice and more ice. So, we'll see.

We interrupt your regularly scheduled programming...
After posting the yeti photo Riley and I went to the store to get groceries before the weather got bad. I couldn't tell how bad it was until my car skidded a bit past the stop sign. On our way to the store everyone was going 20 mph in a 50 mph street.
I knew road conditions weren't good but I totally under estimated the parking lot.
I opened my car door, stepped out and WHAM fell on my booty. I was still holding on to the car door trying not to slide under. I should have known not to wear chucks, those are devil shoes when it comes to bad weather. My booty still hurts.
Ok, now back to your regular programming...

so this is what it comes to

My week has been hectic. Aside from working on a project for class and giving a presentation I was also preparing for a craft show. The craft show, Deluxe, was yesterday in Oklahoma City. We were there from 9:30am-7p. It was fun and exhausting. I had plans to take pictures of booths and people but it didn't work out that way!! It never does! So I only have a few of us that we took.

After Deluxe our friends from Felix & Jayne, Cristi and Issac, came with us back to Stillwater since Riley's band had a show. I was meaning to take pictures of that but I was too tired to think about it. I only had this taken at the beginning of the night.


I have officially failed you at taking pictures this weekend. Sorry!

So, today, Riley and I couldn't decide what to have for lunch (no surprise). Barbecue sounded good but so did Thai food. We couldn't make up our minds so Riley had an idea.

We found this was the perfect way to decide what to have for lunch. Whoever was closest to the basket, wins and we go there.

So we are excited about the win and drive to the cafe to find out they are closed on Sundays. Of course they are. So Barbecue it is.

Yesterday was super busy for me, but it was a great day! And today I've been filling my custom orders! It feels great to get caught up. I have 2 more to complete. I also need to make things for the indie craft bazaar, Deluxe! It's this Saturday in Oklahoma City!!

I have a couple hours before I go to my next class and I'm bored. I should be making stuff but I want to leave that for tonight! I have a problem with missing class because of stelabird. Once I start I can't stop, or I lose track of time. So I have to wait till later. Riley is being occupied with video games, he seems to indulge in them more in the fall/winter.

On Wednesday I'm going to start a new poll and it's going to be about a giveaway. They are everywhere and I think they are a wonderful idea! So my poll will give you the chance to vote for what you would like for me to give in my giveaway.

We've been having some plumbing problems here and it's stressing me out! Anytime we do laundry or wash the dishes the water comes up in the bathtub and the toilet and ends up overflowing! Maintenance has come over so many times but it's still happening. Plus, the toilet and tub don't drain. So I'm super peeved and want to cry.

I don't know how to explain this but my craft room is now in the living room.
Do you ever feel like you are hidden in your home? Well I was feeling hidden and I think Riley wanted me to be out of my room too so he moved my craft room into the living room yesterday. It'll be there for the next 2 weeks and then I'm moving back into my room. But this is a nice change of scenery. I'm calling it: The living craft room.




I'm excited because Riley offered to help me make little bigfoots and yetis for the craft show coming up. Speaking of those little boogers, I listed a yeti in my shop.

I got a few of these awesome cabochons in the mail today!


So I turned them into rings. I think I'm going to keep one! I like it too much.

Here's the second installment of the mini yeti/bigfoot battles!! This time it's a friendly game of Duck, duck, goose!
I personally hated this game as a kid because it would give me great anxiety.
And also, I hope to have more of these videos out but since it's Riley who makes them for me I can't be too picky! So, enjoy!!

Riley made this video of the rambunctious bunch! It's always a competition between these mystical creatures. Who's better? The Yeti or the Bigfoot?
They will be available in my etsy shop on September 15th! But for now, watch our videos we are releasing so you can get a chance to know them. They're party animals.

The Yetis now have a place to sit together!! I found the little wooden box at Hobby Lobby and painted it light blue. This little set up is going to
Dwelling Spaces once I finish making the owl snugglies. I'll probably get another one to have at Indie Emporium. Tomorrow is a planned photo shoot with the yetis and little bigfoots!! I'm very excited.

Today Riley put a new song on his myspace!! It's called Garden Green. When he first recorded it he gave me the cd to listen to in my car. I must say, I was obsessed!! I listen to the song on repeat. So today he finally put it up for everyone else to listen and enjoy!! So check it out here!

Looking at my poll I had for August it looks like shoulder bags win! I better start working on that and see what happens. I'm having a hard time thinking of what to do for my poll for September. Any suggestions?
