This month is flying by!! Next week is already Thanksgiving, and also my birthday!
I'm happy to share my birthday with the Macy's Day Parade.
Yesterday I was in Oklahoma City all day for the Rock N' Roll Garage Sale! There was live music from 12-8p and many vendors. I sorta felt out of place. All the people selling around me were selling "garage sale" type items. Yes, I know it has the word garage sale in the title but I was told it wasn't like that. There were sellers selling new items but my booth wasn't next to theirs. You can feel my misplacement, right? So I watched the lady across from me with her $1.00 clothing make a killing. I still had fun and enjoyed seeing old friends, new friends, eating cupcakes with sleepy Riley and trying the new red bull cola (disgusting).




When I came home I counted my money, and to my surprise, I made more than I expected (and hoped)! So that made my night.
I also tallied up what I sold. I love to see what the top sellers were! I had two #1 sellers in OKC and they were the owl ornaments and owl keychains. I also love to compare what sells better in the different cities. The top seller at Indie Emporium in Tulsa was the yeti. And in OKC the bigfoots sold more than the yetis. It always surprises me for some reason.
Now it's time to get ready for another show I'll be doing in OKC on December 6th called Deluxe!

So, last night I decided to join Twitter. I've been hearing a lot about it lately and how it's a great marketing tool. You follow people and have followers, which I hate that name. Sounds a bit creepy. I'm following you. Could you hear my creep voice?! So if you have a twitter, wanna be creeps together and follow each other?

I also updated my Flickr. I'll probably finish updating that today.

So, confession, I sometimes google myself. I do! And you do too! Don't lie. Anyways, I love to google stelabird because I find blogs that have mentioned me that I didn't know about. And this always makes my day! I also found someone on ebay with the name stelabird, but I don't think they sell stuff. So, if you sell on ebay and someone named stelabird buys from you, that's not me! I'm knittingstelystar :). Cool name, I know! ha! I actually haven't been on ebay in years.

you are one spiced chai

It's colder in our home than it is outside. It's 53 degrees outside. So Riley and I put on those layers and left the house to get some coffee!


I love my new neck warmer I got at dna Galleries in Oklahoma City!

I need to browse etsy soon to find a knit hat, gloves and more scarves!!! It's suppose to be a very cold winter.

So right now Riley and I are at Aspen, the coffee shop, enjoying a cinnamon roll, carrot cake muffin, hot cocoa and a spiced chai.

And watching an old man feed the birds outside, it made my day.


I don't want to go to class today. Tomorrow is Oklahoma State University's Homecoming football game and we are going. Yes, that's right. I'm braving the rowdy football fans. I'll be there with Riley and my mom. So you know I'll be taking some pictures of that. On game days I don't leave the house until the games start because Stillwater becomes full of bad drivers, and it just becomes very crowded. I haven't been to a football game since my freshman year, it's not really my cup of tea. But I'm happy to be hanging out with my mom. She's a rowdy football fan.

So plumbing problems are back. I hate this so much. It started over the weekend but we didn't call till Monday and they still haven't come. And not only that but our heater is not turning on so it's cold in our home. Why is our place falling apart?! Riley and I aren't bad renters! We're clean! We don't abuse our appliances! And our current place isn't a beat up house or anything. I don't mind the heater to much, just as long as it gets fixed before our cold winters come. I enjoy wearing sweats and pullovers and blankets!
