THANK YOU!!!!

I want to say a huge THANK YOU to you all for leaving such sweet comments about the new layout!!! It really made our day, especially Riley's since he worked so hard on it.
And before he got to work on the layout he designed my business cards for me!! It was a Stelabird weekend for him. The new business cards have Stelabird on one side and You're A Dreamboat on the other!! And the design on the cards are the banners of my shops soooo crossing fingers they turn out well! Here was Riley hard at work...

On Sunday I worked on owl pins and keychains for Blue 7

My sister delivered them to OKC for me yesterday so you should be able to find the new pins & keychains there now!

Now that I've completed filling up the stores it's time to focus on this month's main event: Funky Finds Spring Fling Indie Art & Craft Fair!

This is my first out of state show and I'm looking forward to it!
*There will be over 100 artists, crafters and designers showcasing handmade goods!
*It's a FREE family and pet friendly event! That's right! No fees!!
*Swag bags will be given to the first 50 people to purchase $1.00 raffle tickets (that are benefiting the Human Society of North Texas, Tarrant Area Food Bank, and Aflac Cancer Center)! The bags are handcrafted and screenprinted by the Dallas Craft Mafia, so you know they will be awesome!
It's taking place at the Will Rogers Memorial Center in Fort Worth, Texas on Saturday April 25th from 10am-6pm. Only 18 days away!!!
So if you live in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, mark your calenders and please please please come visit me at Funky Finds Spring Fling!!! It will be tons o' fun!

make me beautiful

Song on repeat for the week....
I Woke Up Today by Port O'Brien

(Kinda) an oldie but (definitely) a goldie!

How was everyone's weekend?! On Saturday I went to Blue 7 to drop off new owl pillows!! If you live in the OKC area go check them out!

On Sunday, Riley and I woke up early and drove to Enid to start painting the new house that we will move into in about 2 weeks.

We headed to Lowe's to get some paint and ended up getting the same color (aqua glow) that we painted my old craft room/our current bedroom. We just love it too much.

Remember that nasty red & gold combo on the wall? Gone!

The future craft room!

(ignore the blue tape!)

Next we moved on to the future bedroom. This room was a sand color but we decided to use the Aqua glow in this room as well.

So here is the after photo:

I will admit, the first part of the day I was a terrible working buddy. I was busy being grossed out by all the dead bugs (I know, I know) while I was edging. So my mom stopped by and picked me up to run errands and released Riley from my whininess.
After Dinner I stole my mom's cleaning supplies & was ready to work!

Also, yesterday was my first time to use one of those magic erasers. THOSE THINGS ARE MAGIC! I was erasing crayon marks off glass & walls with ease! I was erasing everything! They are truly addicting.
Then after I did some cleaning I got to work on edging again

The last thing we did last night was begin to edge the living room.
Before, it had white walls with a pink tone. It didn't do the room any justice.

Today we woke up early and got straight to work. Our goal was to finish the first coat of the living room.
We are painting this room a soft green called Green Monsoon.

I love the openness in my craft room! I don't think I'll feel alone and claustrophobic in this room.

I did this a couple days ago!

Be sure to check out Jo's blog to see what she's been doing to her journal!!

Have a fantastic week everyone! Let's finish up February 2009 with a bang!

still indecisive in 2009

A couple days ago Riley and I decided to move to Tulsa on March 1st. Well, last night I was a bundle of stress about moving (go figure) so we decided to stick with our lease and move on June 1st. Now we have time to save money and have more time to find jobs & a home. As much as I'm ready to leave Stillwater, I think this is the best choice.
So, I will no longer talk about this because I'm constantly changing my mind!

Here are my latest snugglies! They will probably be entering the shop today.

and I've also been working on these key chains this morning.
They will be going to Blue 7 tomorrow!

now it's time to get back to work.
What are you working on this Friday?

nice simple day

Today was a nice simple day.
Slept in to the nice rainy weather with Riley.
Woke up, brewed coffee, started working on finishing up the yetis and little bigfoots for Blue 7.

Riley helps me make decisions with stelabird (because I'm so indecisive) but today he gave yetis and little bigfoots life (filled them)!

It was great to have him help me. We had nothing to do all day so after that we drove to OKC to drop them off at Blue 7 and then did a little bit of shopping.
We came home and I cleaned up my craft room. Organized my fleece, felts and faux furs.

A nice simple day.

owl snuggly tuesday

Today I completed owl snugglies for Oklahoma City's Blue 7! I'm catching up!!

And also today I received my bags from Uline to use for the craft show, Indie Emporium, next month.

This was my first time to order from Uline. I ordered them sunday and I've already received them, which is awesome. And my snugglies fit perfectly in there! Yay!

This evening I went to a coffee shop with some friends to catch up for a couple hours and I ended up drinking 3 cups of coffee. So I'm feeling a wee bit wired. Can't wait for the crash.
