new items at Dwelling Spaces (Tulsa, OK)

Riley and I made our way to Tulsa today to drop off more owls and birdies at Dwelling Spaces!
I finally got to see the new location, which is located at the Philcade downtown (511 S. Boston Ave), and it's absolutely adorable. So, you can find the items below at both locations!

While we were there Mary Beth surprised us with a special gift...
little pipe cleaner chicks!!

Their names are Sebastian and Sebastian.

And I have more yards and yards of brown fleece in my possession again

Oh, and I got mistaken for a Michael's employee because I was standing next to a ladder.
Yay for Tuesdays!

new owl pillows & birdies this week!

Instead of song on repeat for the week this Monday, I'll go ahead and give you the crafting playlist on repeat for the week. Check it out here!

Since the move a few weeks ago I haven't put anything new in my shop! Well, I will put an end to that this week! I've been busy here in my craft room making things for my shop, Dwelling Spaces and Collected Thread all at once. I've made 25 felt birds this weekend, may not sound like a lot but it sure felt like it. I'm not sure if doing the products all at once is more effective than filling a store's order and then moving on to the next.
But let's just say while I work on their's I won't neglect my shop and preparing for a craft show I have coming up next month.
Here are the owl pillows that will be in the shop this week!

hey sports fan

As you can see, I've changed my blog look! I hope it doesn't hurt your eyes!! haha The other template was lovely but it wasn't really fall/winter-you know, with the flowers and all. So we fallified (I like to make up words) the blog. Please love it, through the season at least.
In less than a month (Dec. 13) I will be graduating from Oklahoma State University!!
Today I got my cap & gown!

It still hasn't hit me! It probably won't until the day after, if even.

Today I listed a few birdies in my shop!

and two new snugglies!

Look at all that bird action!

Please don't forget to vote on my poll to help decide what should be given in December's giveaway! It's a close race so far!

Oops

Reordered my business cards.
Closed a credit card account.
Paid my utility bill.
I feel so good and organized and on top of things!!
Um, wait. Something else is coming up...

This will be my first year to participate in the Rock N' Roll Garage sale in Oklahoma City so I have no idea what to expect. It's from 12p-8p this Saturday. Bands will be playing all day and there will be vendors. I almost feel in the dark about this! haha This is the most unorganized I've been with a show. So unorganized I haven't made anything specifically for it! I've just been making things for my shop. So I guess I'll take everything from my shop, then make more pouches, birds and other small items. I'm suppose to bring my own table and the only one I have is the table I craft on. It'll probably be a very crowded set up!
While I think about what all to do, Riley is Drinking out of a S.L.U.T.S mug. (Southern ladies under tremendous stress). I need to be drinking out of that mug.

I made some owl keychains last night

as well as some felt birds!

I've cut out the birds in all the colors I have available so my goal is to complete them all and that's how many I will have for sale this weekend.

No stressing here. I have a small table to fill! (this is what I'm reminding myself!)

So, pretty much all of you who commented on yesterday's post said I should giveaway an owl ornament. And, your wish is my command!!!
The giveaway will start TOMORROW!!!! So return tomorrow to sign up for a chance to win the owl ornament giveaway.

worry wart

I haven't updated in a few days! It may have to do with me being in a bum mood. I'm graduating in a month and that makes me so excited. I think about it some more and think about the student loans I will have to start paying. The excitement turns to panic. Thinking about it makes me want to go straight to my sewing space and get to work, but I'm out of town visiting my family.
I have been listing more things to the shop regularly. I've added a new owl snuggly

a few felt birds

and some jewelry!

This week I plan to work on yeti ornaments and putting more owl snugglies in the shop. Any tummy (fabric) suggestions for the snugglies?
When you're worrisome and stressed, what's your stress reliever?
I have many, but a simple non-fattening one is a step back and taking a deep breathe.

(I can't think of a title for the life of me)

Today, besides class, I've been busy making felt birdies!

It's been cloudy all day and severe thunderstorms are coming in so it's pretty dark here and I wasn't able to take pictures today to post any of these guys in my shop. I wish I could stay in tonight but I have another class in an hour. It feels like such a lazy day today, I'm still wearing my glasses!

Here's a new pouch I listed in my shop yesterday!

I love the little deers dancing around! So cute!

How's your Wednesday going?
On a final note, I must say, last night felt so surreal.
I'm so proud to be able to say: President Obama

The birds the word

I have birds on the brain. How can I not?
While drinking my coffee this morning I noticed that the birdies outside were much louder than usual. It rained early this morning so they were all out getting breakfast.
And I had a few by our window singing.

And since last evening, I've been making my felt birds.

Indie Emporium is this Friday! I still have a lot to make. I have class at 1:30 so I had to pull myself a way from my work, otherwise I would skip class to do this. I'm a bad apple.
Anyways, check out Indie Emporium's website to see the vendors that will be there! Lots of one of a kind items!

Have a great Monday everyone.
