please unglue me from the tv

So the show Dexter consumed my weekend.
We watched all of season 1 and 2, and it was amazing! We don't have Showtime so we has to rent it from netflix. The sad thing is season 3 isn't out yet and I have sit and wait, which I'm really sad about. I NEED TO SEE MORE!!! I figured out that I get obsessed with shows. I rent the seasons and get caught up and can't let go! So I think I may resort to reading again. Preferably a Chuck Palahniuk book.
We took breaks in between discs so in my break time I made pouches with some of my new fabric.
These are now in my shop!




I also listed a new birdie!


Where are you traveling to this holiday season? I'll just be going to my parents' house an hour away from here.

My advice of the day for you: Give someone a HUGE hug. I love big hugs, and they will too, unless they hate people.

I'm listing new pouches in my shop today!
I've received a bunch of new fun fabrics from Riley for Christmas. They come in the mail and he gives them to me immediately so I can use them as soon as possible! It's awesome.

baby it's cold outside

Yesterday, I went to Riley's grandma's house because she was letting me have her fabrics!! I went through her cabinets and closets and drawers full of fabric! We also helped her put up her Christmas tree.


I'm excited to have a lot of new fabrics in my possession!!!

Also yesterday I lost in a game of tug of war with my family dog, Rocko.



Deluxe is in Oklahoma City this Saturday!!! Am I ready? Of course not! I've been doing this to myself a lot lately! I brought things to my parent's house so I can make stuff, so I better get on that! The show is on December 6th from 11a-7p with FREE ADMISSION! There will be door prizes, goodie bags for the first 50 visitors, costume contests, kids' craft activities, a special visit from Santa Clause from 12-2 and gift wrapping by the Oklahoma Victory Dolls Roller Derby Team!! So if you live in OKC & surrounding areas please stop by!!

Where's my jacket?

It's cold out!!
Well, it's 59 degrees this beautiful morning in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Time to snuggle in those jackets!!!



Anyways, Indie Emporium is now 2 days away!
Today my plan is to
1. sew up donuts

2. make owl pins
3. make ghost
4. paint
5. make owl zipper pouches

I can't believe I put all this until last minute. I'm so mad at myself! I think I started 2 weeks ago. And last week was crunch time, where I would wake up early and go to bed late. This week I'm doing the same thing. I went to bed last night at 3am, I HAD to finish the owl buddies



Usually when I begin to stab myself with the needle and cut my fingers with the scissors is when I throw in the towel and go to bed, but last night, despite all that I had to finish these little guys. And I did! As you can see in the picture above.
