This was taken yesterday afternoon.

But the sun is shining today and melting it all!
The roads weren't ever bad so that's a plus.

Today I took pictures of new earrings for my accessories shop!

And also today I'm going to lock myself in my craft room and make owl pillows for Dwelling Spaces! Crossing my fingers I can make 10 today.

Yesterday I found out that there is another stelabird etsy shop. 2 new friends of mine went online to look at my shop but they spelled my name incorrectly, with 2 Ls instead of the one, and that's when they came across the other stelabird. The good thing is they don't sell plushies! I would be heartbroken to find another plushy maker named stelabird. Anyways, when they first told me, my heart fell. It wasn't until I looked at their shop that I felt better, because we sell different things. But, it's still a bummer.
Have you ever come across this?

new owl pillows & birdies this week!

Instead of song on repeat for the week this Monday, I'll go ahead and give you the crafting playlist on repeat for the week. Check it out here!

Since the move a few weeks ago I haven't put anything new in my shop! Well, I will put an end to that this week! I've been busy here in my craft room making things for my shop, Dwelling Spaces and Collected Thread all at once. I've made 25 felt birds this weekend, may not sound like a lot but it sure felt like it. I'm not sure if doing the products all at once is more effective than filling a store's order and then moving on to the next.
But let's just say while I work on their's I won't neglect my shop and preparing for a craft show I have coming up next month.
Here are the owl pillows that will be in the shop this week!

snugglies & soup

The new song on repeat for this week: Factories-Winter Gloves

I finished the owl snugglies for Dwelling Spaces last night. I wish the roads were better so I could drive to Tulsa and drop them off, but not today. And this weekend I'll be in Dallas, so maybe Monday! geez.

Next on the agenda, start working on Exhibit One's order. And eat some vegetable soup. And shop on etsy. I browsed Etsy last night; there are so many amazing things it's so hard to pick! I was searching for headbands, headbands with big flowers or some other amazing adornment, not feathers though, I have enough of those.
So if you (or your favorite friend) have any headbands with flowers or other awesomeness please let me know! I'd love to support my fellow bloggers!

Happy Hump Day!

staying indoors

Woke up early this morning to sleet pounding our window, so we decided to sleep in and didn't get out of bed till 11am. I'm glad Riley works with kids, which means he doesn't have to go to work today since everything is cancelled. So, staying safe indoors is the plan today.

I finished owl zipper pouches last night for Dwelling Spaces

The only thing I need to finish are the owl snugglies. Today they will be given life! AKA Stuffed.

I also have big plans to do computer stuff today. It feels like one of those days. I need breaks in between filling orders and I have to start working on Exhibit One Gallery's order tomorrow.

How's the weather where you are? I hope everyone is staying warm!

It's going to be a good week

Happy Martin Luther King, Jr. Day!
I've been making snugglies this fine chilly day.

Trying to stay in my corner of the house getting things done, staying on track. I had an extremely lazy weekend so I'm trying to start the week off with a bang.

I did stray a little..

So my handsome distraction made me another pot of coffee and left the house to do something productive.
I wanted a mini break and I thought blogging was the perfect solution.
So I guess I'll get back to work now! Expect new items in my shop tomorrow!

What are you doing today?

(Who's excited about tomorrow!!?!)

still indecisive in 2009

A couple days ago Riley and I decided to move to Tulsa on March 1st. Well, last night I was a bundle of stress about moving (go figure) so we decided to stick with our lease and move on June 1st. Now we have time to save money and have more time to find jobs & a home. As much as I'm ready to leave Stillwater, I think this is the best choice.
So, I will no longer talk about this because I'm constantly changing my mind!

Here are my latest snugglies! They will probably be entering the shop today.

and I've also been working on these key chains this morning.
They will be going to Blue 7 tomorrow!

now it's time to get back to work.
What are you working on this Friday?

(where's a title when you need one?)

More than likely Riley and I will be moving to Tulsa March 1st! 2 months sooner than expected but I'm ready to move out of Stillwater. Now it's time to search for a place to live.
Hey Tulsans, have any suggestions? We are looking for a 1 or 2 bdrm home or apt!

Other than deciding that, I've been making some items to put into the shop this week!

I leave you with a song I heard on Sirius XMU (indie, underground) today and instantly fell in love with!!
Sleepyhead by Passion Pit
Enjoy!

I should be doing a list of things right now

My brown eyes are back!!

I've been wearing blue contacts since August. They were starting to get old and make my eyes itchy. Plus they were an old prescription (hehe oops) so I couldn't see as clear. Those were the last pair I had so I decided to go back to BROWN!

I got my car back today and they tried to charge me for the door handle they broke. Luckily the guy told me the quote and when I called Friday to check on it he told me they broke the handle. They didn't fight with me, they just changed the price.
I can't believe this week is Thanksgiving! And next week is OSU's Dead week and then in 2 weeks is finals and Graduation!! It's all coming so fast! I have a paper, presentation and project due next week as well as a craft show next Saturday in Oklahoma City. I should be preparing for all that right now, but I'd rather blog and tell you about it.
I've been listing new snugglies in my shop today!

Ok, now to try and figure out what to do for dinner!
What's your favorite easy to make meal?

hey sports fan

As you can see, I've changed my blog look! I hope it doesn't hurt your eyes!! haha The other template was lovely but it wasn't really fall/winter-you know, with the flowers and all. So we fallified (I like to make up words) the blog. Please love it, through the season at least.
In less than a month (Dec. 13) I will be graduating from Oklahoma State University!!
Today I got my cap & gown!

It still hasn't hit me! It probably won't until the day after, if even.

Today I listed a few birdies in my shop!

and two new snugglies!

Look at all that bird action!

Please don't forget to vote on my poll to help decide what should be given in December's giveaway! It's a close race so far!
