life lately

1. Having drinks with friends at our favorite downtown pub.

2. Husband sings to Dexter daily. Sometimes Dex will sing along. It's one of my favorite things in the world.

3. I got my first sno-cone of the season! Woo!
4. Made necklaces for our local shop! I can't decide if I should put them in our online shop. Guys, I am so terrible at putting new products on there! I need to get it together.
5. Have you guys heard of the cartoon Adventure Time? Well, it's my favorite. And on Sunday they had a marathon; so I was doing my Make It post and watching that. It was awesome. You wanna know what's not awesome? That sad blue and black spot on my macbook screen. That happened in 2010.
6. It's been a stormy few days here in Oklahoma.
7. A morning ritual. Drinking coffee and checking emails. And all those social networking sites.
8. The family hanging out on the porch before work.
9. We got a restock of the fox, camera and heart ring at our shop! Also, they are back in the online shop! Oh man, look at me! ... re-listing things. Baby steps!
10. If you live in Enid (or close-ish) come out to our shop's Block Party!! We'll have free food, drinks and live music! It's going to be tons o' fun!

photo album on my phone you would see that more than half is of this little guy.

Bought three new nail polishes the other day. I can never chose just one.

Yesterday morning we sat outside on our porch and I edited photos for yesterday's post. I love that porch.

my week through instagram

1. Dexter's birthday was last Friday and he got to eat a doggie cupcake biscuit.

2. Some awesome people in Enid have started up a cash mob and our shop was the first to be mobbed last Saturday! It was so exciting and we were so happy and appreciative that they chose us.

3. Wine with friends.

4. Dexter met a new friend at the dog park. They were so adorable playing with each other.

5. On Monday we were in Oklahoma City and dropped off my owl snugglies at Collected Thread and this amazing yarn bombed snake was on the bike rack in front of her shop!

6. While in the metro area, we headed to my favorite theatre, to see The Hunger Games. This awesome theatre has balcony seating that is 21+ so you can have yummy adult beverages and food while you watch your movie. Also, they have super comfy seats with a seat warmer! And, I loved the movie!

7. I've been sewing up a storm this week trying to get shops restocked with my owl snugglies. You can find them at Collected Thread in OKC and next week at Dwelling Spaces in Tulsa.

8. Colorful sunnies sittin' pretty in our local boutique.

9. Husband built new shelves for us at the shop! Love new displays.

1. Eating dinner on the balcony of the restaurant. It was kind of a bad idea because it was super windy and it got cold. Womp womp. Dinner was yummy!

2. Made a hair accessory for a dinner party. You can see the finished product here.

3. Husband skateboarding throughout the shop on a Saturday afternoon.

4. Hello Spring! Flowers are everywhere!

5. Daily dog park visits.

6. Iced coffee, painting my nails and catching up on my blog reading.

7. Ah! Another coffee photo. I love coffee and this mug my bestie gave me.

8. My stack of fabrics who so desperately need my attention. I haven't sewn in weeks and I really need to get back to it.

9. This is as good as our family photo is going to get.

lately

The weather has been gorgeous this week in Oklahoma so we've been spending lots of time outside.

New season means new displays at the shop!

Dexter got his Spring hair do! He's like a little ninja now.

We added some new items to the Felt Bird online shop this week!

Next week husband and I are heading to Austin for SXSW for a few days and I cannot wait! It's nice to get away for a little while every now and then and I definitely need it right now.

Making button earrings for the boutique

Since brussels sprouts are in season and delicious we've been making them a lot lately. We sauté them with garlic in olive oil and season them with salt and pepper.
